It might be an option to modify code and compile for your own.

It might be sufficient to modify parse.y by replacing "LOCALTIME" by
some different Name that does not hurt e.g. "FBLOCALTIME".

Try creating a view on the table that includes renaming the column to another 
name but otherwise includes all other columns in the table and nothing else (no 
joins, etc). Then reference that view in the connected code instead of 
referencing the actual table.
