It's not a good solution, but enabling "archive" repositories did it (using wheezy). I get version 2.5.2, though . deb http://archive.raspbian.org/raspbian wheezy main contrib non-free deb-src http://archive.raspbian.org/raspbian wheezy main contrib non-free Then importing raspbian key. BTW, howto install firebird 2.5 on latest pi (Raspbian GNU/Linux 9) ? It seems there is only firebird 3 on repositories... I've only managed to use firebird from repositories, didn't find installable binaries from home site. Regards.
