Re: gee and haw
This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] My hubbie grew up around fair pullers. He taught me that since there's no G in left, Haw is left and Gee is right. Not that it helps if you can't seem to remember you're right from your left, like me. Shawna

Question for all you Experts
This message is from: Lassesen [EMAIL PROTECTED] The questions below came form a Fjord owner that is not on the list. I am posting it here because I thought maybe you all would have some answers for her. I will forward your answers to the owner. Thank you - Catherine Lassesen - I have a question that I hope you may be able to help with... MY MARE, who is 4 and a half years old, has inflamed but not swollen gums around all of her visible teeth. She is eating and drinking well, but I noticed a small amount of blood at her corner incisors the other day, leading me to check her mouth more thoroughly. She is getting lots of good quality first cutting hay - the same we have been feeding for months, rolled oats, Buckeye Gro-n-win pelleted ration balancer, yeast and corn oil. I was feeding wheat bran, but I quit that on the theory that may have been irritating her gums. Have you noticed anything like this with your Fjords? I have never seen it in any of the young horses I have worked with, though I keep a close eye on teeth usually. Another question, this one from my vet - are you aware of diabetes running in any Fjord bloodlines? - Please respond to the list or to me directly - Thank you [EMAIL PROTECTED] Catherine Lassesen HESTEHAVEN
Re: Ohio Auctions/Turlock Auction
This message is from: GAIL RUSSELL [EMAIL PROTECTED] I was told that there was a very nice Fjord gelding at the Turlock in CA auction, but that he bucked off his rider and was not sold. Apparently the prices on all horses were extremely low. It sounded like all of the Fjords had been no-saled because the prices were so low. Gail Russell Forestville CA [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Ohio Auctions
This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hello everyone, I have just heard the oddest rumor, so thought I would ask all of you about this. Supposedly there is an auction in OH called Sugarcreek, or something similar. Apparently, there have been quite a number of Fjords being sold through this auction at very low prices. Does anyone know anything about this?
