This message is from: The Mercers [EMAIL PROTECTED] Passing this along FYI. She has pictures if anyone is interested. Taffy Mercer Kennewick, WA I've decided to concentrate on competing with my minis, Dealer and Spitfire. Consequently I am selling my Eagle. Eagle has brass fittings, green metal, oak panel dash, yellow pin stripe, hydraulic brakes, removable raised floor for driver, marathon platform with 2 seats and steps has been used for 14 - 15.2 h. horses. I specially ordered a marathon seat for myself but am selling the vehicle with no seat. This way you may order the type of seat you prefer. $4250 located in southeastern Washington state. I've hauled this vehicle in the bed of my Dodge pickup and also in my 3 horse diagonal with my Morab mare in the front stall. from the end of the lines, Milaine Rosslow http://www.thebuggylady.com/ www.thebuggylady.com

This message is from: Rhonda Taylor [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sunlight and Discomfort, R.Taylor, Straw Hat Stables Being a new horse owner, I can only comment on the several horses I've dealt with in New Mexico - where we have high altitude, few clouds and lots of sun. My Appalousa, Ginger, had pink skin on her nose and ears that would sunburn, blister, and peel. When we didn't keep her inside during daylight hours (7am-7pm), she wore a full head/ear mask and sun screen with lots of zinc oxide in it on her nose. (I hated keeping her in - she wanted to be with the other horses and I HATED the extra mucking). One of the local breeders of paint horses, when she had a horse with blue eye(s) and pink skin around the eyes, would have them tattooed in a dark color around the eye to match the coat. She said this decreased the difficulty with sunburn around the eyes. Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com

Re: ATCH LEVELS
This message is from: Jean Ernest [EMAIL PROTECTED] I would join the Equine Cushings list on Yahoo. Lots of info there. Jean in Fairbanks, Alaska, still smoky but hope for some thinning. will be 80 degrees today. My daughter and I just recently found a Fjord in our area for sale. It is 17 years old. I did a pre purchase vet exam and Blood work. Clinically the horse was sound, however it was anemic and his ATCH level was 78 (Cushing's Disease elevation). With Fjords not being very common, and not having any past history on testing, is safe to say that this ATCH level is high and the horse is at a level of Cushing's? I was wondering if you have had any past experience with Fjords ATCH levels
