He is located in Co. At the request of the owner I took a look at this horse to see if it would be worth his while to have the horse trained and then sell him. He is a very sweet horse. I started his full brother, Fawn Creek Storm, who is currently a wonderful trail horse on the Western Slope. However, Furi will take some concentrated work from a very dedicated person. Even though he is sweet, he is suspicious of new people and was somewhat spooky, even in his own pasture, which he shares with his Halflinger friend (who was not spooky at all). So, I don't think he would be a breeze to train, but I do think that if someone out there is interested in a rewarding project, this horse would end up being worthwhile to take on. He will need a lot of exposure to new and varied stimuli. It just wasn't cost effective for the owner to have him in training with me to try to sell him. If I didn't have so many of my own to work with already, I would have purchased him, but I just don't have the time to take on another project! Gelding for sale
This message is from: Nancy Blauers <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Hi Everyone! I was brousing through Dreamhorse.com the other evening and came across a really good deal.. there is a very nice gentleman selling a half brother to my gelding Theo for only $800.00. He is moving and really needs to sell this nice little gelding. Fawn Creek "Furi" is about 10 years old and leads but is not broke to ride or drive. If anyone out there is looking for a nice easygoing horse to train and love look him up on Dreamhorse or feel free to contact me for the owner's email address. I'd snap this horse up myself but my husband and I travel all over and I'm in the process of starting my fine art businessjust way too much going on to add a new one! If this horse is half as smart as Theo- he'll be a breeze to train and a wonderful steady mount! He is located in Co. Happy Trails!
