PNFPG Newsletter
This message is from: "Willows Edge Farm" All of you members in the PNFPG be on the lookout for your newsletters ... the first group went out this evening. The rest will be out tomorrow with the help of my littlest pair of extra hands, Evan (age 4). He likes to help by put the labels on - so if your labels are a little crooked, I promise, I wasn't drinking when I was labeling, just using a pair of 4 year olds' hands. :-) Also, it was great to finally put some faces with names at the meeting Friday as well. Superb job for those who put it all together, Corinne Logan Willows Edge Farm Bothell, WA (425) 402-6781 www.willowsedgefarm.com Important FjordHorse List Links: Subscription Management: http://tinyurl.com/5msa7e FH-L Archives: http://tinyurl.com/rcepw Classified Ads: http://tinyurl.com/5b5g2f
horse feeds
This message is from: Onna Kulaja I couldn't agree more about Triple Crown feeds. They have been researching horse feeds for horses requiring low ESC +S(NSC's) for a long time. Triple Crown Lite is only 9.5% NSC. A very highly concentrated vitamin and mineral balanced feed low in iron. Colorado and the midwest already have more than enough iron in the soil without adding to it. The TCL has less NSC,s than the TC Low Starch. The TCL is wonderful for not having to feed as much and still obtain the necessary vitamins and minerals. The Equine Cushing sight is a wonderful sight to belong too, just like the Fjord chat list. They are very knowledgeable in feeds that are good for over weight horses, pony's, foundered horses, or those with IR or Cushings. I follow their guide lines because Fjords are a pony that are very easy keepers. I keep close track of my Fjords glucose and insulin levels. The last thing I want is a foundered horse or IR or Cushings. Just my opinions.
