BRAG ALERT
This message is from: Dave and Patti Walter dwal...@tm.net Just have to send out a brag alert on FPF Logn Falkspyd, owned by Peggy Spear, here on Consignment at FCF in Two Rivers WI. I took Logn to her FIRST dressage show and she was a ROCK STAR. Peg did a fantastic job training her, Andrea Lohr a student of mine did a fantastic job riding her in Intro Test A and B receiving a 74.68% in A and a 73.% Something in Test B. Here is a link to Test A if anyone cares to watch it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qC-8S9fEEx0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qC-8S9fEEx0feature=em-upload_owner feature=em-upload_owner They ended up with Reserve Champ for the Youth division. Logn LOVED going somewhere new, loved all the show activities and I am pretty sure loved showing just what she can do. Needless to say she is ready for training levels tests now, her canter is coming along nicely and at JUST 5 yrs of age, she has a VERY bright future ahead of her. She is also learning how to go out on the trails, and she happily goes thru water, thick brush, is good with traffic, just an all around great Fjord Mare. If you want more information on her you can check out my website at www.franciscreekfjords.com Very proud of Logn, Andrea and Peg! Was a group effort that worked together nicely. Trucks
This message is from: Dianne White draakosdri...@yahoo.com We have a 2004 Dodge Ram 250 Heavy Duty 4X4 Hemi and until recently l loved, loved, loved this truck. We mostly use it for hauling and only have 83,000 miles on it. We started experiencing some issues when we were traveling at a high rate of speed, going over an expansion joint on a curve. The front end started shaking and we had to slow down to get it to stop. Wasn't sure what was going on at the time. This started to get worse and would shake if we hit rough patches in the road. This is what is known in the industry as Death Wobbles. You can google this and there are videos out there and all kinds of info on this. It cost us almost $2000.00 to fix. Our friends have a 2006 Dodge Diesel and have started to feel some shaking but only when they are hauling a trailer. Apparently this makes it happen faster. They only have about 40,000 miles on it. Our mechanic told us that Dodge has fixed this on the newer versions but you really need to be aware of this. He also told us that it is not just a Dodge issue but more of the heavy duty truck issue. Need lodging for Fjord gelding Madison Area
This message is from: Dave and Patti Walter dwal...@tm.net I am in need of stabling for a Fjord gelding coming in from the state of WA between July 10-17. The shipper will only go as far north as Madison. His final destination is Francis Creek Fjords. I will either come and get him or if someone wishes to make some money and deliver him, we can discuss that too. He is a very well mannered 5 yr old gelding, that will need to be stabled 1-3 days max. Anyone in the Madison Area interested?? Re: Mare and Gelding for Sale
This message is from: Sarah Gibson equ...@gmail.com Hi Taffy, I am looking for a calm, Fjord gelding for driving on country roads and possibly some very low level competition. I currently have a 5 year old Fjord gelding that is probably not going to be the driving horse I was hoping he would be. I am holding onto my current gelding but really want to realize my dreams or driving. I am a beginning driver but not a beginner horse person. Do you think your gelding would fit that bill? Is he sound and healthy enough to be driven a few times a week with no issue? I am just starting my search but an older been there, done that Fjord would be what I am looking for. What are you asking for him? Thanks regarding trucks and review of cool medics saddle pad
This message is from: Robin Churchill rbc...@yahoo.com Thanks to all for your truck opinions. We are going back to the Ford dealer tomorrow so maybe we will make a deal. I don't know if anyone has used any of the Cool Medics products. I know people who have used the vests and the reviews online are good. I decided to try one of the saddle pads because it is so hot here. My advice is don't bother. I didn't think it felt cool hardly at all. It is just like putting a wet saddle pad on your horse. I sent a complaint e-mail to the company but I kind of doubt that they will do anything but thought I would save someone else some money if anyone was thinking about one.
