It's a fairly large area, and I've heard that the rubber mats are very
pricey! Someone told us to use lime mixed with water, then spread over the
sand and packed down works great. Has anyone else tried this?

I just wanted to say that I have 2 of Han's horses, different bloodlines
Anvil's Peder, and P.E. Regina}, and I, too agree that they are great.
They are our first horses ever, and have had great luck with them. We got
them Aug. 15, and they are very easy to handle/work with. We have alot to
learn, but they are very loving, patient and willing.

Hi and welcome!
I too, am new to the list. I have been a fjord owner for almost 3 months.
They are our first horses, and they're wonderful. I couldn't imagine life
without them! We have a 2year old gelding- Anvil's Peder, and a 2 year old
mare, Pine's Edge Regina. We just had our new barn built, and they don't
seem to show too much interest yet, but the weather has been so beautiful!
I'm sure they'll like it when the snow starts coming down!

Hi!
I finally read an e-mail that sounds just like my Fjords. I have a 2yr. old
mare, and a 2 yr. old gelding. We got them the at the same time, and our
gelding is definately the BOSS! He pushes our mare away from her hay. It
seems he wants to get all the leaves off before she does! Other than
feeding, they get along great!
