For Sale - Fjord Gelding, Wonderful Driving Horse!
This message is from: Kim Potter t...@usfamily.net For Sale: Thor an 8 year old, Registered Brown Dun Norwegian Fjord gelding, 14hh. He rides and drives, and is show ready to drive. Has been in training since February with Michael Scott and is presently in his care. He doesn't spook easily, needs an experienced rider and driver, loads fine, good for Ferrier and vet, UTD on shots and Ferrier. He is barefoot except when driving on rough terrain. Please refer to the YouTube videos to view him in action. There are several videos, one showing that he stands well while being hooked to a cart, another showing how well he handles himself when he is boxed into a corner while pulling a cart, another showing him navigating through some cones, backing, and a another video shows that he has a nice long stride, videos are not necessarily in that order. Thor is a sweet boy with a gentle disposition and has allot of get up and go when you want it. Very comfortable to ride, but needs some additional training in riding. Thor will be shown at the Annual Midwest Fjord Show in Blue Earth in July.
