Saddle

2004-08-16 Thread Renzprev

I want to thank everybody that gave me sage wisdom about my saddle quest. I
am a big girl and have a normal size fjord. I have been turned on to the
Bob Marshall Saddle.

Does anyone have one for sale? They are expensive saddles and if I could
find a used one in my size (18.5 I think) that would be great. I have tried
ebay and will continue to watch for one that fits. Any other ideas?

Does anybody have any ideas on getting a saddle for a big girl? I am
looking for a western synthetic saddle with a 19 seat for my fjord. Any
thoughts
would be greatly appreciated.

We bought an aussie saddle from their catalogue and couldn't be happier.
LOVE them. I'm looking for a used 22 aussie or western. If anybody has any
leads on one I would appreciate hearing.

I want to second everything that Pat Holland has said about
Dawn and Tyler. I just purchased a wonderful 3 yo gelding - Tor - from them.

Not only is he a wonderful horse but they took much time to get him ready for
me. Tyler, Dawn and Jessica are gifted horse people with hearts as big as
all
outdoors. I can't thank them enough for all their help.

Also, I would also like to thank Pat Holland for her help and
encouragement. She gave me excellent direction and advice!!!

I consider myself very fortunate to have found all of these
people. I am a first time fjord owner and it is because of them that I have
the
great horse that I have.

Bridget, I loved reading your email. You are a great writer. I felt like I
was there with you. I wish you the best of luck with your event.
As I was reading along about Rahael's fussiness about not liking his head
touched I was thinking...hm, maybe clicker training would help. That was
before I realized it was you...the clicker expert that was writing. You and
I met on line at one of the Sunday night discussion groups. I just wanted to
mention that after our conversation that night we got a couple of clickers and
tried it. All I can say is WOW !!! clickering is amazing. We have had such
fun with it. We are still learning the mechanics of clicking and riding. But
for the most part it is awesome !

Ok...nuf about me. Hope your event goes well. It sounds like quite an
adventure. Hope you write moreI love reading your emails. You have a
great talent in writing.
