Hi folks,
Just thought I would join in here in Michigan on the 'oldies, but goodies' !

Anyway, we have two 22 year olds, two 24 year olds, one of which is a rescue
we recently acquired, two six year olds, one of which is the other rescue and
one five year old. They all get ridden except the 24 year olds. All are Fjords
of course! We too have lost beloved Fjords and it sure is hard to make that
final decision, but knowing it is for their own relief, is a comfort. Our
first Fjords came 22 years ago and we have had many hours of fun.

As a child, I rode my Dad's draft horses and purchased my first riding horse
at age eleven, and here I am, still at it at 74. In fact, I ably showed my
mare at a show last weekend and received a first in Walk/Trot Pleasure!!!
Sometimes the days get long and the arthritis gets hurting, but I'm doing what
I love. So, you youngsters out there--don't give up!!
