There was a bit of a mishap in receiving my gift this year. Evidently the postal carrier stuck a notice in my gang box (those tiny ones that come with apartments), did not attempt to redeliver, and did not drop the parcel at the office which is the usual procedure. I wasn't about to stand in line at the post office the days before Christmas, so I waited till after. Fortunately, there was my parcel. It was worth the wait. Pat Wilson of Utah had an artist paint my Tommes on a river rock. She used the memorial photo from my web site. I couldn't wait to see it, and opened the box in the car in the post office parking lot. I couldn't believe how she captured his essence, having never met him.
