This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I want to second Catherine's note about how much fun we had at this years Expo. It was a BLAST!! One of the really fun parts for me was getting to really trot all out in the big arena with our pair and carriage. And of course I wish we had had someone with a video camera for Catherine's Ski routine - it was really the high point of the show from all the comments we heard afterwards. Pam Adler and Dad I were also asked to drive some of the clinicians in in our carriages for the big Spectacular. So our Fjords got a little extra exposure. ( And I got to drive Clinton Anderson in again (He's such a cutie)! Two years in a row folks are going to think he really likes Fjords!! This message is from: Lassesen [EMAIL PROTECTED] Rune and I are back from the Greater NW Equine Expo. WOW! What a time we had! A big THANK YOU to Amy, Bud and Tillie Evers, Becky Matt Hope, Linda Bezdek Cassie Soule, Laurie Brianne Orrick, Maggie McLaughlin, Wanda Hill and Pam Abbott. We were told by many spectators that we had the BEST demonstration! We had 10 Fjords at the Expo and we demonstrated, Packing, Single Cart, Pair Cart, Western, Dressage, Mama and baby and Fjording Around by skiing behind a fjord. The Expo Staff asked us to perform the skiing at the Friday Night Spectacular Show. We had a blast! We gave away OVER 1300 Fjord Hugs during the event. Attendance was the lowest in 4 years... but the weather was the nastiest (rain and heavy winds) and with the world events... we did not expect the crowds to be as heavy as in the past. Overall, the Fjords were well received and we had a lot of fun giving away HUGS to the spectators. Thanks! For a wonderful weekend. What was interesting to me is that both groups that I went to see made 1st and 2nd places. Dr. Ritter's booth got a 1st place. Very nice, elegant, and he is a WONDERFUL trainer. And a gentle-man with a gentle way with horse and human. And the Fjord booth, it was so well done. I loved the red white and blue and the fjord silhouettes. A lot of time, effort and planning went into it. Can't wait for next year. I'd sign Juniper up for the therapeutic horse, but again, she should be VERY pregnant same time next year. Pamela

Thanks to Amy, Pam, Wanda, Linda, Jean, Mo, Rune and Bud! The Oregon Club won 2nd place for decorations. This will allow us to sign up for next year's Expo. We have 3 stalls left for the 2003 Expo. MARCH 20,21,22,23 24, 2003 (Each breed is allowed 10 stalls total.) We are looking for a jumping Fjord, Western Fjord and a fjord that could do therapeutic riding, packing or vaulting. Cost is $50.00 for the stall and $5.00 for enterance each day for helpers. (We are limited to 10 tickets per day). If you want to participate... email me [EMAIL PROTECTED] or Please send money to me.
