I am behind on reading my Fjord list, so I don't know if this has been posted yet by other members. The James River Driving Association is presenting an Introduction to Driving Clinic on Sunday March 5, starting at 10 am with a Potluck Lunch. It will be held at Deep Run Hunt Club in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia, a central Virginia location just west of the Richmond 295 beltway. Topics included with be: Correct Harness Fitting/Safety Check Procedure Proper Turnout of apparel and equipment Obstacle driving (cones) Display of carriages and tailgate picnic display For more information, call Dot at 804-556-4486. You can email me privately for directions. This is a really nice group of people, and the club has all types of drivers and functions. They have always been helpful in answering my questions. I am taking Freya, and lots of clothing, because I might be part of the "Proper Turnout" demonstration. If Freya is in one of her mellow moods, she will also be doing the harnessing demonstration because she usually will stand forever. Hope to see some of you there.
