I showed the raw footage to my trainer (who purchased my 3 yo, Skylark and now knows that Fjords Are Fun!). She was very VERY impressed. Anyway Gayle, I need to know my tape is a little bitty tape that needs to be redone onto a VHS size tape. Do you have a converter, and so I could send you the tape as is (meaning I could get it in the mail tomorrow). Or do I need to transfer it onto a VHS size myself and then send it to you? Pamela

I must tell you though that we tried to get these tapes to you at the best possible price hence put the whole show on one 8hr tapethis of course means that extended play was used. It is also a copy of a master (which is a copy of the 8mm casettes) You probably will find a loss in quality to what you are used to with professional tapes..such is the price of doing things this wayIF we had used 4 tapes at 'slow speed' , we would probably have a much improved product but the cost would have been forbidable. We are able to sell the one 8hr tape for $45 which includes shipping...this, I feel is an acceptable price and will give you a good idea what happens in Libby. The tape is done in such a way that footage was taken of every entry in every classthen random shots as the class proceeds, the line up at the end of the class and the anouncement of the final ribbon placingsalso footage of the parade and all the halter classes...the first hour of the halter class had to be done without a microphone because the micro-man was late in delivering the goods so that may be a bit difficult to hear but all the rest of the placings are clear and audibleI think Sandy did a remarkable job of taping the show for us and at last we have a record of a complete show in our archives.It was certainly a huge sacrifice on her part as it put Beth at the mercy of all her other 'helpers' when usually Sandy is her groom Ursula & Brian Jensen Trinity Fjords Box 1032 Lumby BC Canada V0E-2G0 http://okjunc.junction.net/~ujensen/ [EMAIL PROTECTED] (250) 547-6303

I can not find an inexpensive place that will make another master copy. So I have offered my video to those that might want another perspective of the show. These I can do on my own equipment, without having to send anything out to be done by a commercial outfit. The last thing I want to do is step on someone's toes. The still photographs provided at PhotoPoint, for viewing/downloading/printing was done because I wanted to give something back to the group, AND it didn't cost me anything to do soexcept my time.
