I have only a couple of data points. My old Fjord mare, Nansy, lived
to be 32. For her last few years, Nansy was the oldest horse in the
NFHR registry. Her mother, Skade, had lived to be 34.
I'd say that high-20's is not uncommon, but anything over 30 is
probably "remarkable".
