This message is from: "Bo Fjords Horse Ranch" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> If any of you know of an older Fjord that would enjoy being pampered and well cared for in exchange for the occasional ride around the farm, please let me know. Hello Lee, We have for sale a very nice 19 yr.old fjord gelding we've owned since he was a colt.We used him for riding and hunting, then he was used in a team for farm work and shows, parades, pulling etc. His team mate developed a ringbone in his front hoove and had to be put down. So we would like to find a good home for this fine fellow. He still looks really good and frolikes around with the other horses. He's quite, tall at about 15 hands. We are open to negoiateas for as price as long as he'd get a good home. But I'm afraid that transportation would be a problem as rising fuel cost has made long hauls for horses quite expensive. If we can be of further assistance please let us know. Thanks, Larry Boe from Bo-Fjords The FjordHorse List archives can be found at: http://tinyurl.com/rcepw
Older Fjord wanted
This message is from: "Lee Hardin"<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Hi Everyone, My husband and I have just returned from the Taylorsville, NC area. The year+ long search for a GOOD home for our married daughter's 15 year old Saddlebred cross is finally over. After work today we delivered Ryan to a beautiful farm and a loving family. Their barn has 8 stalls and a bunk house (hardwood floors, full kitchen and two bedrooms, hardly what we called a bunk house). There is also a guest house in addition to the primary residence, log cabin. The family has an interest in older horses. One of their two horses is a 28 yr. old Arabian in great condition. Last Saturday, Ryan's perspective owner, the 21 year old daughter of the family, and her mother came to our farm to meet Ryan. The mother of the young lady, who also rides, fell in love with our Fjords. She wants a Fjord for herself and has asked me to help her find a 15+ year old Fjord will lots of riding experience. This family trail rides on their dairy farm. The mother is a petite woman and would enjoy a Fjord around 13.2 hands. If any of you know of an older Fjord that would enjoy being pampered and well cared for in exchange for the occasional ride around the farm, please let me know. Thanks, Lee Hardin Mountains of NC ___ No banners. No pop-ups. No kidding. Older fjord wanted
This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hello list! I have a client who is looking for a fjord. They would prefer an older gelding. This would be a great family home with tons of love and care. The candidate would be kept at my farm and both mother and daughter would lesson with me regularly. They had a deal worked out that fell through and though are disappointed, are still eager to find something. If anyone knows of anything could you email me off the list? We (actually I) would prefer something older than 8. I go by the age of the horse plus the age of the rider should equal 18 or older. We are in CT but are willing to travel a reasonable distance out of New England. Thanks everyone!! Kate Mom to Baldur the wonder Fjord Plus two brilliant human children
