This from Joel Harman.

Just got back from the state fair draft horse weight pull & log skid. Pulled a
1080# gelding in the light horse division which went up to 1300#. Won the class
with a 2400# pull. Could have pulled more but that was what it took to win the
class. This horse pulled 2850# a few yrs ago when he weighed 960#.
I didn't do team pull because cut off was 3200# & my other gelding only goes
925# so would have given away 1200#.

Won the team log skid at 1 min & 5 sec. No faults. 2nd was 1 min & 46 sec.

Halflingers had lots of classes there for halflingers so good exposure for them.

For sale
consigned mares 9 & 10. Heavy boned. Blaken & Marika. NFHR, 21" collars. Brown
dun. Harness available with them. Been driven & worked on mower, rake, disc,
plow, harrows, & oddly enough pulling pipe for an irrigation project. Marika
has 2 colts on the ground & is open.

Weanling colt from C-1389 & out of Marika. Basically useless but loads & does
fine with feet. Currently hanging out with his 1/2 brothers, Brass Ring's
Jord(author of "Life On the Ground" series), & Brass Ring's Baar. The colt had
kind of a rocky start when he got here as Baar took it upon himself to chase
the colt around the corral until both of their thingys were dragging. Jord just
kind of sat back & watched. It was hot that day. They are best of buds now. I
think he need to be cut but who knows about weanlings?

Also for sale out of my working string - C-1404, Stillmeadow's Lovisa.
7 yr, heavy boned, brown dun mare. 21"collar. Lots of farming & logging
experience as well as parades. Excellent work ethic. Has been riden but needs
more work there as I don't ride much anymore. Open, but proven
(Jord & Baar).
