Mike, thank you for your quick response. It is a real pleasure how quickly
everyone replied to my query. I just want you to know that my husband isn't
as happy as I am about it as I am now on a quest to get another "Gromar"
fjord! Silly him, he thought three fjords were enough!

Tell him they are like Potato Chips - You can't have just one!!!

Hi! I am looking for information on the Stallion "Gromar". I think that he
is a Canadian fjord, don't know if he still around or anything about him. I
have two mares that have him in their backgound.both Canadian
registered. I must like him? I think that not too long ago on the List
there was mention about a way to track pedigrees on the internet?

Yes! To all of the above. She's on the list (mostly a lurker, but when she
has something to say, I definitely pay attention to it!) She is a beautiful
rider, and must be an exquisite trainer. When I went to visit the stallions,
Misha and Gromar, she gave me a brief demo on Misha. I almost forgot about
wanting to breed my mare to him, I wanted HIM!!! Gromar is still there, last
time I checked. Do you get the Fjord Herald? There are usually ads for
Misha and Gromar there. What impressed me the most (among lots of things
that impressed me) of the Gromar/Misha line is the wonderful nature and
disposition. With conformation, ability and disposition, it's hard to find a
better stallion than these two (there are a couple others I have my eyes on
though!).

Jeri,

Yes, Gromar is still around. He currently resides in
Olympia, Washington, in Anne Appleby's barn. She
stands him at stud there, along with his son Misha.
Her email is [EMAIL PROTECTED] Incidentally, he is
beautiful - a REAL presence! I only wish he had been
standing at stud down here when our mare Line was
still of breeding age. What a match that might have
been!

<< Hi! I am looking for information on the Stallion "Gromar". >>

I'm up early this morning so I'll answer. He belongs to a list member,
Anne
Appleby. And he certainly does have some nice babies! I've got a new
granddaughter of his. Sire is Misha. What an absolutely stunning baby! I
like him too! Here's the Canadian website address: http://www.clrc.on.ca/
