Thanks for the hints on wood chewing. So far, a chile spray is proving effective. I want to see if I can metal line the edges of the barn, too. I don't like the idea of a collar, but I will use one if I need to. Now that it's cool enough to work, that may help, too. Gail in Albuquerque
