Thanks Mary big Charley is better but I am having David check him over as he
is slowing down so! Know he must be ailing when he is so good! What train
connections do you make for Montana? I need to get to Kalispel (sp). Jean

Thanks Mike, I think I am all right but printed out your directions anyway.
Appreciate that. Btw I have written everyone when phone calls did not work
but only hear back from the previous owner, Carolyn Hunt.. But I will keep
trying in hopes of getting the transfer papers on Gunnar. Jean

If I understand what you are asking you really can't. But by just "seeing"
or viewing the message you can't get the worm or a virus for that matter.
You would have to first double click on the message and actually open it in
Outlook Express and then double click again on the HAPPY99.EXE file
attachment.

But to get rid of the message that has the Happy99.exe file attached to it
you should just delete it as you did. You might want to do a search of
your system to see if the file actually got deleted too. I take it you are
running win95 or 98. If so you can do the following:

Go to the start button,
Select Find,
Then select files or folders,
Type happy99.exe in the "Named" Box
make sure that "Look in" is set to "My Computer"
make sure that the include sub directories box is checked,
Now click the "find now" button.

If any files named happy99.exe come up in the window below, select them and
then hit the delete key. DO NOT Double click on the file name. Just hit
the delete key when it is selected. Then close the find window and right
click on the "Recycle Bin" icon on the desktop. Select the "Empty Recycle
Bin" menu item and say yes to the confirm prompt.

If you don't find a happy99.exe file in your search you are ok as long as
you didn't run the file and see the fireworks display.

Mike

Jean,

No, I don't use Outlook Express for my email. I just highlight the
parts of the message I don't want to resend, press the space bar, and
voila! it's gone. I understand some programs are not so easy to use.

BTW how is your big Charlie horse doing? Hope he has gotten over his
"spell" again.

Mary, are you using Outlook Express for your email? If so how do you delete
without seeing the message? I got this same message and just deleted it
after it was open on my board. No problems though. Jean
