That is quite a story and I can see why you are grateful to the
dispatcher. Certainly lady luck was smiling on you. Another way to be
assured safe return of your canine friend when picked up is have a
micro chip put in. Here in Southern California it costs $44 plus the
cost of the vet visit, but it is well worth it if even once it gets you
your dog home.
