That would be because of Mike's fat fingers & not changing the default color when registering him. I will fix it when I get back from vacation. Mike Mark? He is obviously white dun, did you tell Mike May he was brown? Send him a picture that makes him look Brown? === Norwegian Fjord Horse Registry Mike May, Executive Director & Registrar PO Box 685 Webster, NY 14580-0685 Voice 585-872-4114 FAX 585-787-0497 http://www.nfhr.com mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

This message is from: Jean Ernest <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Congratulations to Mark and Lisa McGinley for buying Anvil's Rethel, AKA "Rhett"..I have admired him, or at least the pictures of him on the Anvil's acres website, doing dressage, jumping, cattle herding trail riding , anything at all. And especialy since he is a full brother to my Anvil's Adel. But why is he registered with the NFHR as a brown dun? Mark? He is obviously white dun, did you tell Mike May he was brown? Send him a picture that makes him look Brown? Hey Mike May, look at his pics on the anvil acres site: http://mypage.direct.ca/a/aunrau/Web%20Page/Fjords/Photos/rethel/Rethel.html I would liked to have bought him myself, but since I already have four fjords, reason prevailed... I have always thought it would be fun to get together with other Fjord owners and ride together. That sounds like fun! Another beautiful place to go riding is by Mark & Lisa McGinley's Mariposa Farm in Ashland,WI in Chequamegon National Forest. They have beautiful wide sand trails that wind between Red Pine and maple forests. Lots of nice hills and views along the trail. I just had a chance to do this with them last weekend and got a chance to meet their new does-everything gelding "Rhett", who is a beautiful white dun from Anvil's Acres. Another beautiful and little known place to ride is up by our farm in Superior National Forest near Grand Marais, Minnesota. We have access to many miles of trails from right off our property that range anywhere in length from a half an hour to several hours. Many views of Lake Superior and a chance to glimpse deer, moose, bear and other wildlife in a remote part of the country. We offer overnight stabling in secure 12 X 12 box stalls and guest paddock. We do not have lodging for humans, but there is a nice B&B just a mile down the road, and a very nice-reasonable motel 3 miles away, right on Lake Superior. Our place will, however, accommodate a living-quarters horse trailer or self contained camping units, we furnish electricity. We have clients that come back to do this with us, and they love the trails up here. If anyone would be interested, we can e-mail pictures. Jon & Mary Ofjord North Coast Fjords Grand Marais, MN 55604
