Peter,

I will have to agree with Suzan, at first read, your mare may be going thru
foal heat. How many days old is your foal? The black around the eyes is
what I would call color... and you just may have yourself a grey. The hair
coming off around the muzzle I somewhat normal, hair on the head seems to
shed first at times with these guys...

When in doubt, take temp and keep a record of the temp. 99.5 to 103 are
somewhat normal ranges.

Good Luck...

FJORD WANTED...

OK... I know that everyone wants a low priced trained Fjord... I have a
client that is looking for the miracle Fjord... An older mare or gelding
that is trained for riding. Gentle for beginner riders and children. Does
not have to be Dressaged trained but steady on the trail is a must. Grass
drivers OK... we will use grass reins... (LOL)

The family is low-middle class and knows that a Fjord can be expensive...
but hopes that someone will have a semi-retired one out there, for them.
They have 2 horses for sale at this time hoping to pay for their new Fjord.
(2 year old APPY gelding & an older AQHA mare) They are willing to trade!
They will need a seller that is willing to work with them. They both have
good steady full time jobs and pay their bills on time.

OK... now if anyone is willing to work with these people, Please contact me
and I will forward you their name and email.

Thanks for listening,

Catherine Lassesen
