Hello List--

The last chance I had to see real live
fjords was at the Midwest horse fair (I absolutely
fell in love with The Pines Dokka--darn, where's a
winning lottery ticket when you need one!)

Gina,

Thank you for the compliment on The Pines Dokka. As a fellow lurker, I never
missed a digest. We have owned Dokka since she was a 5 months old. We
brought her and her half sister The Pines Dana from Jeane and Dennis Downing.
(They
are wonderful people.) They were our first fjords and as others have said
"Fjords are like potato chips, you can't have just one" we now have 11. In
October we brought Downing's stallion - Fair Acres Sven II (Steinfinn, Grabb,
Hosar). Since we cannot breed Dokka or Dana to him, we have those two, plus 3
others for sale.

For anyone interested you can find more information on them at
www.lazyvalleyranch.com, 2 of the horses for sale are not shown on the website
yet, they are
Fair Acres Earling, who is 4 years old and will be started later this summer.
Also is our new arrival "LVR Karl" (name and registration pending) Wood's
Kandi X Fair Acres Sven II. Karl is a month old now and can smile on cue, he
has a great personality.

Hope to see many of you at Blue Earth this year!!!!!!! This year's show
looks to be great, we have been attending for the last 3 years and
participating
the last 2 years and have had a wonderful time. A good place to see many super
fjords and meet many wonderful people.

Sincerely,
Dawn Schlickman
