Thats what the vet always says - he's too fat! If I were you I would contact Dr. Valentine's at Cornell. She has done a lot of research on EPSM and is considered the authority on it. Send her an email with his symptoms. Just see what she thinks. She may have some ideas for you. Wez tape
This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi Sue - yes this is Nancy from east NH. I would love to have a copy of the tape. One of my DQ "dressage queen" friends showed me an awesome picture of him in the USDA magazine doing his extended trot. My address is Nancy Botte, 44 Beech Hill Rd., Exeter NH 03833. Glad to hear Hilmar is ok, I have had Rochester Equine folk out a few times over the years to check on Sonnies stiffness. He seems to get better if I can get him to canter in both directions - really makes that inside hindleg loossen up. I have had someone with keen eyes watch us just to make sure Im not missing something. He is more than willing to back and canter, (as long as I jump him to get the right lead - the left is no problem) just sometimes short behind lately, but we've been doing harder work, I'm hoping thats what it is, but I would like a copy of the EPSM info you have, Definelty no weight loss either! Thats what the vet always says - he's too fat! When all the other horses - (13 of them) are all frisking and covorting about, he eats all the hay! I love this weather - nice enough to ride after work - no ice - trying to take advantage of it cuz I know that nasty weather is coming!!! I'll call Ceacy too. Hope you all have a super holiday - Nancy Thanks Again, Sue - Good to hear from you.
