This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tragic news regarding the Southern California fire situation! IF ANYONE needs a place to go...and wants to get a little further away...we have a VERY dear friend in Wickenburg, AZ who would be happy to help. I believe that Wickenburg is 5 or 6 hours from "the valley" area. Please call me, Wendy, 406-223-6933 for Lisa Hershkowitz's phone number, or email, [EMAIL PROTECTED] (mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]) for information. BE safe! ** See what's new at http://www.aol.com The FjordHorse List archives can be found at: http://tinyurl.com/rcepw
Re: fjordhorse-digest V2007 #243
This message is from: Sarah Clarke <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> thanks to all who sent kind prayers and offers to help. At the moment the 3 horses in Bonita are safe - even have their own corrals. The humans, cats and dogs are bunking with friends in Bonita in comfort. The horses in jamul are not accessable - they just won't let us in. Our place is shown on the map as in the burn zone, but we call the house and the answer machine picks up - ergo the phone has not burned up yet. - Sarah [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] In a message dated 10/23/2007 12:08:36 PM Mountain Daylight Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: > We had a fire plan, but this fire complelety was beyond what we could plan > for! > Sarah, my thoughts are with you. Tried to find your # but couldnt. Kathy Kramer just called me and has 30 stalls availible. If you need a spot to land, call her. ( she has NICE guest rooms too ) ; / As I knew he would, Jeff got released ( after fighting with some Dr. who wanted him to take a week off, RIGHT ! ) to go back on duty. Hes headed back to headquarters then his station which is the primary station for the current horrible station in Orange Co. One of the Fire Chiefs was just on FOX National news really upset , yelling at someone at the State level to get some support to Orange Co. and the fatigue is starting to get to everyone. The hills over Tustin area are bad, bad. Im hoping that since Jeff is the only Engineer / Medic availible right now, that he gate assigned to a medic unit. Lots of breathing emergencys right now, even away from the fire so resouces needed everywhere. S, hanging in there !
