RE: What is going on here?
This message is from: "Karen Keith" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> According the Jeanette Gower's book, "Horse Colour Explained,": "Occasionally, a wither cross is present or transverse lines appear along the mane and neck." (Page 45) There is also a picture on page 44 of a Fjord with these types of lines. Karen Question for the list: Do fjords ever have vertical striping on their necks? I know it can occur over the whithers, but this is definitely on both sides of the neck. _ Find love today with ninemsn personals. Click here: http://ninemsn.match.com?referrer=hotmailtagline
What is going on here?
This message is from: Liz Rudy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Question for the list: Do fjords ever have vertical striping on their necks? I know it can occur over the whithers, but this is definitely on both sides of the neck. I took some friends down to see my fjord Torsten and noticed (he was standing in the sun) that he has faint verticle stripes down both sides of his neck. I didn't notice them before. Thet aren't dirt or dust imprints from leaning against the fence or some such. What is going on here? I assume he is not turning into a zebra. Liz and Torsten In sunny and warm Lynnwood, WA
