Debby I wonder if they tied their heads up which would stress the neck
muscles and could cause shaking? Weird?

speaking of trailering

2003-04-29 Thread Debby Stai

I sent two horses to Geogia this past week, a retirement farm, and had a
hauler do it since my hubby is gone and when I checked to make sure they'd
made it fine, no booboos, she told me the weirdest thing. Said that for the
day, they both had the shakes. Not in their body, just in their heads. Said
by the next day it was gone. Anyone heard of this?? What could it have
been?? We've hauled long distances before but over several days, taking night
breaks. This hauler hauled with very few breaks, they were in the trailer
though just for 24hours. She said it had to have something to do with being
trailered as they both were doing it. I hadn't given either any meds of any
kind, just wondered if it was some kind of motion thing. thanks.
