No it works fine on my other server just by compiling the app in a browser. Why make it in xml? Why not just put it all in a database and pull it from there. It is easier to update that way. Do you know any server side languages? (ColdFusion, JSP, PHP, etc) If you plan on using Flex for anything serious then I suggest learning scripting languages and database design and management or hire someone that does know them. Otherwise you probably won’t get far.
