Indeed.
It must be very close to having a runtime-CSS engine though, no ?
What would be great is if styles set on one tab effected all tabs (so I set
theme color, and then can tweak tab colors relative to that).

RE: [flexcoders] Adobe Style Explorer - view source error

2006-06-29 Thread Matt Chotin

What is the 2047? Sandbox violation? I
dont think theres anything loading for the style explorer at
runtime but Id have to look at the source more carefully. Maybe one of
the graphical assets?

Where are you located? I know that weve
had some issues with content getting propagated, its a big farm behind
that one domain (since currently examples.adobe.com is actually on the same
system as www.adobe.com while we wait for
more hardware to come in). Maybe youre just hitting different servers
and we havent fully propagated?

The only diff between the 2 players is
that youre going to see the error in the debug player and wouldnt
get a dialog in the release.

I'm still a bit curious. Now I can get the 2047
error sometimes, but not usually. Shouldn't I always get it? I'm talking
about doing a full reload on the page or opening it in a new tab.
Secondly, it still seems to work fine even after clicking close on the
error. Is this not true for other people? I am using the FB2
release version of F9 player which is a slightly different version than the
regular Flash 9 player.

RE: [flexcoders] Adobe Style Explorer - view source error

The security error looks like a history
manager problem, maybe due to content propagation.

I have received the source for the style
explorer and am in the process of getting it uploaded onto the web site. Hopefully
it will be there by the end of the day.

Ah. Somehow I missed that the problem was
with the view source. Yes, I also get the 404 error for that.

The OTHER error I sometimes get when the actual main page loads is:

Error #2044: Unhandled SecurityErrorEvent:. text=Error #2047: Security sandbox
violation: LocalConnection.send: adobe.com
cannot access http://examples.adobe.com/flex2/consulting/styleexplorer/Flex2StyleExplorer.swf
.

But not always.

RE: [flexcoders] Adobe Style Explorer - view source error

2006-06-28 Thread Matt Chotin

Sorry about that, looks like Peter (the
author) forgot to include the source when he gave it to me for distribution. Hes
out of the country so it might be next week before we can get that posted. The
Beta 3 version can be found here in the meantime, but there are definitely some
diffs between this and what is showing.

Re: [flexcoders] Adobe Style Explorer - view source error

2006-06-28 Thread Pan Troglodytes

I'm still a bit curious. Now I can get the 2047 error sometimes, but not usually. Shouldn't I always get it? I'm talking about doing a full reload on the page or opening it in a new tab. Secondly, it still seems to work fine even after clicking close on the error. Is this not true for other people? I am using the FB2 release version of F9 player which is a slightly different version than the regular Flash 9 player.
