I guess the “don’t hold your breath” was taken wrong. J It’s going to be a few months before you see a Mac version (I for one, can’t hold my breath that long). Re: [flexcoders] FlexBuilder on Mac
Title: Re: [flexcoders] FlexBuilder on Mac Also to note, just because Flex Builder for the Mac isn’t yet available, that doesn’t mean you can’t develop for flex on a mac. You can develop and compile for flex 2.0 today on a mac. Several resources have explained how... http://labs.macromedia.com/wiki/index.php/Flex_Framework:tutorials:mac_development http://weblogs.macromedia.com/mesh/archives/2006/01/resources_for_c.cfm http://weblogs.macromedia.com/mesh/archives/2005/12/compiling_actio.cfm And the eclipse platform, the underpinnings for FlexBuilder 2.0 is also readily available for the mac, ( http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/) along with some plugins for MXML ... It’s by no stretch of the imagination FlexBuilder 2.0 as far as features are concerned, but it should hold Mac developers off until it is available. -p On 1/26/06 10:31 PM, "David Mendels" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hi, To be clear, we intend to support Flex Builder on the Mac. Ever? Yes. Now? No. We had to prioritize our engineering schedule and the Windows version has to come first. [flexcoders] Flexbuilder on Mac?
Macromedia seems to normally support the mac right along side the pc. I was a little supperised to see only a windows version of flex builder. Does anyone here know if there will be a version for the Mac in the future? I don't want to spark any kind of mac vs pc battle, I'll use either to get the job done, I'm just curious about mac support for flex. -- Matthew Yahoo!
