[flexcoders] IE8 problem - opening html page in a new window no longer works
Hello: I have an issue with the new Internet Explorer 8: ... navigateToURL(new URLRequest(theURL),"_blank"); ... this was opening the html page from my flex application in a new window. now it replaces the current window... any ideas how to solve this? two days ago a friend maintaining a Flash 7 old project had a refresh problem with IE8 it seems IE8 can load a SWF7 but can't reload it!. What do you mean by 'does not work on IE8' ? The swf is not loaded? Some specific error in IE ? Tell us more about the problem, w/o information is impossible to help you.
