Mike, I was able to put the mp3 file of Gerald's talk into my iPod in the music folder. I found it by listing by song for "Gerald,s talk", the name I gave the file. The mp3 file plays very nicely in my nano-ipod. Sorry for my delayed two cents worth.. but I read the daily digest... The choice to fuse the power cable should include an evaluation of the power source... An infinite current "lead acid battery" type of power source definitely requires fusing the the power cable at the source. With a modern regulated and current limited power power supply is is just a personal choice. Most well designed power supplies can run all day into a dead short and not damage the power supply. If the cable is large enough to handle the maximum power supply current no cable fuse would be required. On the other hand, power cable fusing may give peace of mind and only cost a couple of dollars and a small voltage drop across the fuse and fuse holder. That is understandable, but I think it is important to get the new code out there (PowerSDR v2.0.0) and get the product released so people can start using it for things other that FM repeaters. If we had waited until PowerSDR had all its features, we wouldn't have a SDR to play with for a long while.
