Re: [Flexradio] Macros

Martin,
First: The ZZPS command is for turning the START Button On ( ZZPS1; )
or OFF ( ZZPS0; )
Second: PSDR would execute them in immediate sequence. Its not a
toggle type of command.

DDUTil could turn it into a toggle type of command but I'm guessing
you don't want to do that.

Good morning All,
Ive spend the weekend working on macros for CommCat Mobile to my 5k. Ive
reached an impasse and hoping i can find the answer here. Downloaded the CAT
pdf file from the knowledge base (thank you what a lifesaver). On tne CommCat
macros, supposely i can put 2 macros on one kine. For instance power on and off
* (radio control)zzps01;zzps00;
I cannot get the macro to work as written. It acts like a toggle rather than a
on/off device. My main objective is to turn the monitor feature on and off.
Same problem, if I put the on portion in one macro box and the off portion in
another macro box, it works great. Same line, forget it.
I only have 8 macro boxes to work with which means 4 macro commands.
I dont understand why it wont work on one line. It should fall through and
execute the second command.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and 73
Marty

Re: [Flexradio] Macros

2013-08-26 Thread Michael Logan
To me it makes sense that it runs both macros. If the monitor is on it would
again turn it on (no real action) then it would turn it off. If it is off it
would turn it on again and then immediately off.

I recently added a macro to do the antenna tune function and had thought about
adding the MON ON macro so that when I tune, the monitor would be turned on.
Then I could have a macro just to turn it off. Since a tune takes just a couple
seconds if I want to monitor I can just do a quick auto tune on the band. If
you no longer want to monitor then you can turn it off at any time.

Since you usually tune the antenna when you change frequency you would always
be monitoring by default.

It's not optimal but it should work. I have not actually tried it yet but I had
the idea a couple days ago.

Let us know if it works and suffices.
