Re: [Flexradio] Flex5000 HF banddecoder
Jan : Here is an example of someone who has used an Arduino Nano to supply band data to an Elecraft T1 tuner. DDUTIL talks to the Nano (it is a USB device) that listens for band data. Along with some simple glue parts attached to the Nano it allows the PowerSDR band information to be sent to the tuner, in a format that it understands. http://blog.zensunni.org/blog/2011/01/19/arduino-elecraft-t1-interface/ I intend to do something similar to enable automatic band changes on a THP HL-45B amp attached to my Flex-1500. Cheers Michael VE3WMB P.S. Arduino Nano clones can be found on Ebay for about US $8, including shipping from China. ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz To opt out of the Reflector: http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz

[Flexradio] PowerSDR Problems with New Video Card
Hi Flexers, I've run into a problem with PowerSDR 2.7.2 that has me stumped and thought that one of you Windows Guru's might have an idea. I recently upgraded my XP machine with a Radeon HD6450 video card so that I can run two new monitors at max resolution (1920X1080). All programs run normally except for PowerSDR which gives red X's on the skin and crashes with a .net 3.5 error. I've disinstalled and reloaded both the video and Flex drivers and software with the same results. Keep in mind that everything worked normally until I installed the video card. Any guesses as to what to try next? Thanks, Bill AB7AA ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz To opt out of the Reflector: http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz
Re: [Flexradio] drawback of F6500 compared to F5K
>From my perspective, the 5K with the second receiver and a second antenna well removed from the primary antenna has the ESC or "Beam Steering" capability. Of the newer 6K line, only the 6700 is able to do the same. For my situation this is a major advantage of keeping my 5K. 73 Ken AC0HO On Tue, May 20, 2014 at 3:18 PM, Burt wrote: > What's missing? > On Tuesday, May 20, 2014 2:25 PM, Michael Walker > wrote: > > > > I just got my 6300 and I'm impressed so far. > > One of the first things that I tested with the monitor and it works! [Flexradio] Flex5000 HF banddecoder
Hi, I'm looking for a way to get data out of my 5000 for switching a 2x6 HF antenna switch. With ddutil and the very nice UCB from Phil, K3TUF, I was able to get VFOA HF data out the flexwire, but I also need data from RX2. Anyone tried it ? Another option I'm thinking about is having a slave listening on the CAT interface for FA and FB. Anyone build something like that already? 73 Jan ON6ZG/DL6ZG/T6ZG --- Dit e-mailbericht bevat geen virussen en malware omdat avast!
