I wonder if anyone having a Flex 6300 could check this out for me. I notice if I merely key the radio via the MOX button (NO microphone connected) with my mic gain at least half way up I can see a deflection of audio on the band scope. This is particularly noticeable if one goes to the radio's setup and engages the 20db gain and again simply keys the radio via the mox button. I can hear a hum too if I monitor in a second radio or in the Flex's monitor . However this has never been pointed out during an actual on air QSO even if I am running high power. I am wondering if this is normal or whether I should send in the radio for service. Dudley is also checking this out. If I received 'on air' hum reports the situation for repair would be obvious but I haven't received any such reports.
