[Flexradio] Fan in 3K speeds up, then slows down and repeats

2011-03-14 Thread Al Zaba
I am running a Flex 3K with the latest V2 software. I find that the fan
speed oscillates in what seems a near sine wave fashion speeding up, then
slowing down all else seems normal any suggestions / comments? I have
the fan threshold set at 35 deg C.

Re: [Flexradio] Set up Digi

2011-02-01 Thread Al Zaba
For what its worth I am running a Flex 3K with 64 bit W7, the latest V2
PowerSDR and the latest betas of HRD with no discernable delay problems - I
had them with V1 PowerSDR but they disappeared completely with my V2
upgrade. I use VSPE in the "splitter" mode and VAC and BobSmeter and
easyPal and everyone gets along just fine - go figure.

[Flexradio] Bobsmeter & HRD?

2011-01-26 Thread Al Zaba
Can anyone point me to any info on how to set up PowerSDR to operate with
both CAT connected programs Bobsmeters and HRD simultaneously??
I am using vspMgr now and can run either program not both at the same
time.

[Flexradio] PowerSDR2.0.16 and HRD

2010-11-10 Thread Al Zaba
Folks,

I just wanted to ³me too² a comment posted here that said the new load of
PowerSDR worked much better with Ham Radio Deluxe. In my case (Windows 7,
64-bit) HDR went from basically unusable with the next earlier Version 2 to
working great with 2.0.16 I don¹t pretend to understand why but it did!

remember the last state of the ATU on a given band?

Re: [Flexradio] Flex Users on Macs

2010-07-24 Thread Al Zaba
I have used Parallels, VM Ware and Boot Camp - not with my 3000 but running
HRD - I wound up buying a "real" PC laptop for HRD and the 3000 - but if you
don't want to do that then use Bootcamp - IMHO you wont be happy with any of
the co-resident solutions.
