[Flexradio] Re memory loss

2011-08-12 Thread Dick3
I solved the memory loss problem by making a memory archive folder in the
Flex radio systems folder and saving a copy of the working memory.xml in it.
I make it a habit to close PSDR prior to shutting down the computer but I
have had glitches that caused the memory.xml to be wiped out...Dick

[Flexradio] RE; Memory Loss

2011-08-12 Thread Dick3
If the computer is shut down for any reason before PSDR 2.15 is closed...you
will lose all memories. memory.xml is written when the program is
closed...when the computer is shut down prior to the PSDR being normally
closed there is not sufficient time for the memory file to be written. In
Win 7 this generates an error message and the file is corrupted and wiped
out...Dick

[Flexradio] Memory Selection 2.1.5 is poor

2011-07-24 Thread Dick3
The Memory Selection in version .5 is fatal to an operator that changes hf
frequencies often...it takes four selections and two major excursions of the
desktop to select a frequency!!! In past versions, a double click on the
desired frequency and you were good to goany help heretnx ...Dick
ps...the data in the memory bank is great, but the selection process
outweighs it...
