So far have been unable to resolve several issues. Normally run SO2R at high power using a FT-100 MK-V and and IC781 plus amps. The station is adequate to achieve rates of 70 to 80 per hour under good conditions. Use FSK with MMTTY with N1MM or WRITELOG software. Station is stable with minimum RFI in the shack and only problem is second harmonic of 40 meters de-sensing the 20 meter radio for a portion of the 20 meter RTTY band (+- 10 kHz from 2x the 40 meter freq.). However: Using VAC: DIGL PTT drops out too fast and loses parts of messages ZERO beat moves the rtty mark signal to the center of the filter band and not to 2125 Hz. ditto for mouse click . Using any external program ( MMTTY or N1MM) with PTT by radio command causes the the SDR-1K to immediately go into receive before transmitting of of the letters still in the pipeline. On the other hand: It takes 2.4 seconds to go into xmit before it sends out data. This is independent of audio buffer or DSP size from 512 to 2048 VAC buffer held at 256 as an example, buffer contains (including spaces: {TX}CQ TEST DE NO2T NO2T{ENTER} {RX} What get received (FT 1KMK-V) is: (transmitter on)__ CQ TEST DE NO2T NO(transmitter off)noise noise etc. The underlines representing carrier without diddles or any modulation. Changing the VAC delay to 10 ms/int maybe causes startup time of 2.03 seconds between keying and data. Shut down is immediate with loss of last few letters. Without VAC and using an AUREAL AUDIO sound card everything works well-- but not enough power output with the audio gain at maximum. Delta-44 shows -35 db on it's WAVE OUT 3/4 display. Using VAC gives all the output needed to drive the external amplifiers. I have tried to fix some of the problems: POWER 1.6.0 (Modified SOURCE CODE AND COMPILED so that DIGL uses CW mouse click) Freq readout on diplay for DIGL is off 2 kHz from mark freq. The same is true in the N1MM bandmap when used in the same computer using VCOM to provide the interconnection. BUT!!!: The frequency sent to a real ComPort and to another radio is correct! By REAL is meant the frequency shown is the MARK freqeuncy. This is commonaly used to define the location of a RTTY signal. Where in the code is the
