[Flexradio] 4th decimal digit readout on panadapter/waterfall really necessary?
I notice 2.6.4 now shows the frequencies with four digits after the decimal point. I don´t know if that helps or not, but I personally find it confusing. E.g. 50.0150 now could be missread as 50.150 if one is not carefull. Wonder what others think? Maybe it could be made user-selectable? Thanks for fixing that memory form bug (DE1043). That really helped! 73 Rolf PY1RO ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/
Re: [Flexradio] Question about NB1 and NB2, not working as I expect it toFlexRadio Digest, Vol 94, Issue 17
Hi Mark Don´t be surprised to find the sourse of your troubles outside the perimeter of your home! I have just recently located and fixed two white noise sources, the furthest one about 300' from the antenna. Both were NOT hump type sources, they were white noise covering many MHz all the way up to 6m (where they really bothered me) and beyond. The hump type are also all over the place but so far none has affected me directly, so I don´t bother with them. The sources I fixed were 1 - a BY built flourescent lamp reactor, 2 - a switching power supply of a home security system. I have also experienced a 1 -2 KHz wide hump on 21.075/6 which looks similar to the regular humps, but that one is generated inside the Flex3K. It is still there when connected to a dummy load. Maybe the Flex5K owner is looking at something similar. 73 Rolf PY1RO ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/

[Flexradio] PSDR generated broad noise on 21.076
Been playing with JT65HF which on 15m is confined to the 2KHz in USB on 21.076. I-ve noticed a broad noise covering just about all of that segment and imagined it to be one more of the many noises generated by a big city, but the other day I left the antenna disconnected and the noise is still there! Wonder if anyone else has noticed this and if there is a way to make it go away or move frequency! I´m using PSDR 2.3.5 / Windows 7 on a Flex3000 and have tried other buffer and scanning rate settings, but nothing seemed to make a difference. It is -126dB without an antenna and has a cyclic sound to it.73 Rolf, PY1RO ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/
[Flexradio] Using both VAC1 and 2 on Flex3K?
I would like to run CWSkimmer, which uses I/Q to VAC, and JT65HF, which does NOT use I/Q to VAC, at the same time. It seems that I could use one VAC for each of the applications, but how do I configure that? Is it possible at all? Right now I have to go into setup and mark/unmark the I/Q to VAC box, depending on what application I want to use. Re: [Flexradio] [FlexRadio] Re: Flex 3000 Freezes with v2.4.4
Hi guys, I had the same problem and I´m using a PC with XP 32 bits. I had to revert back to 2.3.5. I noticed many of the freezes happened at the precise moment when a Skype message arrived. But there were also appearantly unrelated freezes. I should have disabled internet alltogether to see if that mattered, but didn´t hink of it till I had reverted to 2.3.5 Will give it some time and try 2.4 later 73 Rolf ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/
