Re: [Flexradio] [KB] A new Knowledge Base article has been posted
At the risk of having my stupidity on display, why is Flex using Access as a conduit for distributing update files? I don't happen to have a copy of Access so where does that leave me re: updating my SDR1000? Re: [Flexradio] [KB] A new Knowledge Base article has been posted
I just used OpenOffice Base to open the powersdr.mdb and deleted the BandText table. Then I started PowerSDR and it filled in the current BandText table. It seems to be working ok. Does anyone see a problem with this technique? Seems like you could go in and customize BandText for your favorite frequencies. OpenOffice is available free at: http://www.openoffice.org/ and lets you open and edit MS Office files, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Access database. No, there isn't any reason you cant do this. Matter of fact I have added a bunch of the digital sub modes to my database. Now, be careful. The BandText table in the KB article is for Region I. The US is Region II. -Tim Integrated Technical Services www.itsco.com Si fractum non sit, id reficere -Unknown Roman consultant -Original Message- From: Mike Naruta [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, December 18, 2006 1:02 PM To: Tim Ellison Cc: FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz Subject: Re: [Flexradio] [KB] A new Knowledge Base article has been posted I just used OpenOffice Base to open the powersdr.mdb and deleted the BandText table.
