[Flexradio] success with PSK31 on my SDR-1000
Brief moment of bragging (and thanks). Just got the Burkina Faso DXpedition on 30 meters with PSK31 on MixW 2.16 and 1.8.0. It was the first time I'd tried digital with 1.8.0 and I got the DX just before he shut down on that frequency and mode. The "new" power limits may well have made the difference -- it was 100 per cent copy both ways, in any event. In the log! That's 84 DXCCs on 30 meters, lifetime (mostly SDR), and 184 on the SDR as a whole. Gotta love it when a plan comes together! Re: [Flexradio] success with PSK31 on my SDR-1000
Larry and All, I keep all my setups in memory including a default frequency, filters and anything else memory will store, and instead of clicking on a band and mode, I do a memory recall in which case there is no added setup. If you start MixW first, this over-rides MixW's selection of USB. I noted DIGL has some differences such as the default centering frequency, so I use DIGU for everything and use "inverted" in MixW if needed. Chas. Actually, when you are in DIGL/DIGU mode, all of the processing is turned off. So don't worry about turning off the leveler, COMP, or CPDR. The Gate and VOX are still active though, I believe.
