[Flexradio] Fw: 2.6.4 issue
Not firewire drivers but just as quirky. 2.6.4 works now as it should since I uninstalled virtual serial port emulator! Some sort of conflict with these two programs, even though the emulator was shut down. Touchy little thing. VSP emulators do not shut down when the control panel is shut down. Windows enumerates the virtual ports during startup, so the VSPs are usable whenever called for. To show this, shut down (or never open) the VSP control panel program. Go to Windows Control Panel, Devices and Printers. You'll see the VSPs listed. Not entirely true. Eterlogic's VSPE only has virtual ports for as long as the 'control panel' application is active. When it is shut down the VSPs disappear.
