Subject: digital software

Gentlepeople,

As a member of the ARRL Experimental 600 meter group I don't have the luxury
of using just any software. One of the specified pieces is Multipsk. So I
was especially intrigued by a comment by another Flexer that he was under the
impression from other contacts that Multipsk has good features but also has a
steep learning curve. Steep learning curves are an absolute anathema to me.
This is further complicated by the fact that I intensely dislike reading
instruction manuals and that several-inch-thick pile of these things I've
downloaded in just the past few months for software alone is discouraging.
Getting 2.0 beta running on both the 3000 and 5000A with separate computers,
while challenging, is nothing compared to my trouble with Multipsk.

It sudden occurred to me to ask members of this marvelous group who might have
had some experience with MultiPSK if they have any helpful household hints
that might make my task easier.

I've been using MultiPSK for years. What's your issue?

It has a daunting looking layout, but it's really not that bad if you look
past it.
