Re: [Flexradio] Laptop Firewire Card for Flex 5000A

2010-07-07 Thread Sheldon Hartling (ve1gpy)
Hi Ray

I can recommend the SIIG NN-PCM222-S4 dual-port FireWire CardBus card. It
works great in my Thinkpad T60p.

I can't say the same for the two cards I tried before it. I had no luck
with the Dynex or SIIG 3-port CardBus cards.

on the T-60, its the same 'trap door' , just a little higher and to the left...
take a peek...i THINK 'express' = 'faster'.
I wasted a LOT of time trying to make my laptop work with the dynex card and
the flex 3000...

Depends on what interface you have on the laptop for a plug-in card.
