Hi, maybe you have a noise generating optical mouse. I experienced noise problems with an optical mouse. I have noticed a high noise level generated when changing frequency only on bands above the 20M band, especially when using the sliding mouse. The noise generated is as high as 15dB above the noise floor. This is the same on all versions of software that I have used so far.
