Good question Gary. VOX also helps you with a "stuck key" in the operation. It would be nice if the SDR had a "stuck key timeout option" that would disconnect after x minutes in a stuck key situation. I did have this happen one time when I was tuning the outboard AT-Auto autotuner to go to a new frequency. DDUTIL now helps that as the freq. is auto changed on the AT-Auto tuner by the serial port. With your particular remote setup, how do you protect against loss of Internet during transmit? Some kind of timeout is a requirement that needs to be met and I wonder how you are doing it? Is VOX dealing with this in the same way?
