[Flexradio] SDRLUG
Will the Software Defined Radio Linux User Group session tonight at 8:00 PM EST be on the Flex-Radio TeamSpeak server. I do not find it listed and wanted to learn about Ubuntu and dual boot. 73 Jim, W4ATK ___ FlexRadio mailing list FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archive Link: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ FlexRadio Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ FlexRadio Knowledge Base: http://kb.flex-radio.com/
Re: [Flexradio] [SDRLUG] Expanding the Scope a Little
Nothing major in the beginning but keep it in mind, if done in a reasonable way the software would work after a re-compile on those platforms. Caged Fans or Larger diameter Muffins with lower wattage are quieter. As long as the SCFM exchange, or a thermal stabilized oscillator is used, the unit will not drift. The cal setting is repeatable in that the unit drifts into the same point. This is because I use the same relative TX/RX duty cycle and my shack is in my

In general, it always seems a plus to be more inclusive. My major concern is the amount of technical support that can be given to users of other OS's. I view a user group as being a comprehensive resource for multiple levels of expertise. This isn't to say we couldn't do it with BSD and OSX users in the future, but today our ability to support a Linux or DttSP user from the core of the group is outstanding. If there is a question, someone can answer it. Can we say the same for the needs of BSD and OSX users? 73 Dan N4XWE --- Frank Brickle <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > With or without PortAudio, jack is advertised as > running satisfactorily > on FreeBSD (on top of OSS) and OSX (on top of > CoreAudio). With or without PortAudio, jack is advertised as running satisfactorily on FreeBSD (on top of OSS) and OSX (on top of CoreAudio). It would be nice to have this verified at some point, anyway. 73 Frank AB2KT n4hy wrote: If Portaudio turns out to be the universal panacea it appears to be on the way to becoming, we should certainly make every attempt to include them. If Portaudio turns out to be the universal panacea it appears to be on the way to becoming, we should certainly make every attempt to include them. Both the java and Qt code will run on the Mac. I know from my WSJT development experience the *BSD's will run the c, p-threads, python stuff without a lot of hacking. Bob Frank Brickle wrote: All, Just wondering.
