[Flexradio] Settings for cw

2013-02-17 Thread Phil Theis

Hi,
What are the best settings to have quick cw, unfortunately I had to
switch to a radio with knobs during the DX contest, was missing the
first symbol. Tried some settings, but couldn't get it under the
pressure of the contest.

Using 2.3.5 on W7 machine with i7 processor and tons of ram.

Hi Phil.

Sorry for the delay in responding. This weekend was my first time off
in three weeks so I was radio silent.

Smaller DSP and audio buffers have the lowest latency. Faster sampling
rates have the lowest latency.

Also make sure that the TX Relay delay is not set on as it will delay RF
if it is. For the 5000, it is in the Antenna form- uncheck all of the
Delay check boxes.
